Integration and networking
The Cuxhaven Center Management serves as the coordinating body for planned and future projects and processes in Cuxhaven’s various neighborhood centers. The goal of this Center Management is to bring together various stakeholders from the fields of public administration, local politics, the private sector, Cuxhaven’s community organizations, and residents who are not affiliated with any specific group.
The purpose of such a downtown management initiative is to bring together the various stakeholders from the fields of public administration, local politics, the private sector, Cuxhaven’s community organizations, and individual residents. The goal of downtown management is thus to integrate and coordinate the various aspects of economic development, tourism, social empowerment, and physical downtown development.
In Cuxhaven, the center management should be understood as an intermediary body among all stakeholders—that is, citizens, customers, property owners, restaurateurs, investors, the administration, businesses, and also young “city makers”—always with the goal of increasing foot traffic, improving the quality of the experience, and extending the length of stay in Cuxhaven’s downtown areas.
