Business start-up guidance

A good idea is a good start. But then what? And what do I need to know? If you are considering becoming self-employed, we can provide you with expert support and provide answers to your questions. Free of charge.

We are happy to advise you

Is my business concept something new or does it exist already? Can I get protection for my business idea? What is the best was to implement my idea? What do I need to be aware of? What funding can I secure for my business idea, where can I make sure I get the best finance? If you are looking for answers to these or similar questions, we would be happy to hear from you!

The Cuxhaven Agency for Economic Development is happy to help you prepare for setting up your own business and can provide you with free advice and support. The first priority is providing you with a general overview of relevant opportunities and risks for the planned start-up and provide you with the advice you need to make your business a success.

Prior to your advice session, we advise that you do your own research using the internet and specialist literature to gain an initial insight into how starting up your own business works and to draw up a basic outline of your business plan and bring this with you.
